About Us

Who Are We?

Wreck The System is a hip-hop music group made up of musicians Cam3, LadyJ, Twill Distilled, and Osiris Green.

It all started with Cam3 and LadyJ opening a recording studio and running it out of their apartment in Maryland. They had an idea to do a new Nerdcore specific project called “Tokens” and joined forces with some of the major nerdcore musicians to make it happen — Mega Ran, Sammus, Sky Blue and more. Twill Distilled and Osiris Green joined the project and quickly became friends, inspiring each other to go push themselves and make the best music possible.

The four performed some of the songs from “Tokens” at Magfest in 2016. They had such great chemistry on stage that the audience believed the four were a group rather than four solo artists, so the four decided to give the group life a shot. They formed Wreck the System soon after under the motto “Be who you are without fear!” They hope to inspire their fans to always pursue their dreams just like they inspired one another during “Tokens.”

The group released their first EP “Rage Quit” on August 2016 and their first album “WreckFest” on January 4, 2017. “Tokens,”Rage Quit,” and “WreckFest” are available for purchase on Bandcamp (https://wreckthesystem.bandcamp.com).

Lady J – MC, Hip-Hop / Nerdcore, Overall Bad Ass

The Empress of Wreck The System Lady J gathers her inspiration from artists such as Eminem, Pharrell and Linkin Park. She is consistently breaking the mold of what can be done by a female MC. Her aggressive style is often described as a “punch in the face” by fans and a wakeup call by newcomers.

Lady J’s ultimate goal is to motivate the masses with her music to “Be Who You Are Without Fear”, overcome all obstacles and stand for what they believe in. A lifelong fan of Anime and Video Games she has performed at/attended over 30 conventions including but noy limited to MAGfest, Otakon, Anime USA, and T-MODE.  Never to be underestimated LadyJ rules from her throne and when tested, she is guaranteed to be stronger than you.

Cam3 – Producer, Hip-Hop / Nerdcore, sometimes known as “Hood Link”

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Maryland, Charles A. McDougle III (Cam3 for short) began his musical pursuits writing rap lyrics in middle school. But it was during his years attending Hood College that Cam discovered his passion for beatmaking and composing, fusing elements of boom-bap, rock, trap, and EDM with ear-tickling melodies reminiscent of the video game soundtracks he grew up with.

Today, he serves as emcee and producer of the nerdcore rap quartet Wreck the System, contributing to their albums TOKENS, Rage Quit, and WreckFest. With his bombastic flow and energetic beats, Cam has performed at MAGStock, Bit Gen, T-Mode, and numerous other ventures in the nerdcore music scene.

Osiris is a 26-year old DMV MC/Producer that represents PG County Maryland. As a youth Osiris has spent majority of time writing songs, battling, and perfecting his natural given freestyle ability.
